Moose Flies

It is hard to see the flies around his nose and neck, but they are there.  You have to wear lots of repellant to keep the black flies off you! This was taken at one of the many ponds close to Kokadjo, Maine.  These photos are quite tricky to take with a dipping moose and a moving canoe.  I wish I could do this everyday.

Loon

This is a loon photo taken the same time as the moose photo posted below.  These birds are so cool.  I'm hoping next summer I can photograph one with babies.  Wish me luck.
