These baby Goffin Cockatoo babies are so ugly when born and yet turn into these gorgeous white birds, which are some of the sweetest and most personable as pets. This one had been hatched only 5 hours when this was taken. They need to be fed every 2 hours at first, a very very thin formula made just for baby parrots.
This photo was taken on the way to Stowe, Vermont. I love the days that you get in the car with no particular agenda, take a back road or three and find beautiful scenes like this. Makes it worth the trip.
