We took a trip up to our place in New Hampshire this month and enjoyed the deep snow everywhere.  One of our side ventures took us on a scenic route through eastern Vermont. I just had to stop the car for these two that came up to the fence as I got out of the car with my camera.  It was snowing and I felt sorry for them even though I was freezing; my chill was only temporary and theirs was not.  This horse and donkey made me feel so lucky to see and talk to them for a minute.  Animals are just so awesome.
