It is March, which is supposed to mean spring in New England. There is still a lot of snow on the ground and wreaths still adorn the barns from Christmas. The trees are starting to run, however, which is the sign that maple syrup and spring is just around the corner.
The snow is as high as an elephant's eye! The power went out a while here in Massachusetts from the nor'easter, however, it was still pretty. Taken in Norwell, MA.
This was taken at Mt. Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. I had never heard of Kite Skiing, however, it is a new trend and they were giving lessons. It was a cold, however, beautiful day.
I love it when things like this happen. Wildlife is here for us to enjoy and photograph, not hurt. This video was taken by Ted Stickney; not sure of his location. I do understand there are people who cannot afford food and must hunt and that is the exception. What I can't see is hunters who just want to try out their new rifle for some antlers to hang on the wall. Just how I feel about it.
