This time of year makes me think of New England when I am not there and especially New Hampshire.  That (New Hampshire) is a place that is old fashioned and yet brand new all at the same time.  Christmas is amazing because you can have sleigh rides, dog sled rides, ski, ice skate, snow shoe, snow mobile or just take a walk all while seeing Christmas lights on various things in the snow.  Such a beautiful sight. Hope everyone's holidays are full of JOY!

While on the way to Peacham, Vermont, we happened upon this cemetery on the way.  A beautiful sight with all of the fall colors; quite peaceful.
This church photo was taken on Rte. 2 near Gorham the last week of September in New Hampshire.  Peak colors of the season were early this year, and seem to be moving south.

This sunset photo was taken from along the Kancamagus Highway (Rte. 112)  that runs between the towns of Plymouth and Conway in New Hampshire.  The weather and scenery were perfect, although there were a few insects that were not real pleasant.  The bugs come with the territory...nothing a little Deep Woods Off can't handle.  This is one of the prettiest places in the United States.

This was taken close to Crawford Notch off Rte. 302 in NH.  Summer is here and everything looks wonderful in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.  Massachusetts is looking beautiful this time of year with flowers in bloom and birds in every yard.  I never get tired of the scenery here in New England, although I look forward to other trips across the awesome United States.

Stormin' Scituate

I spoke too soon about the hospitable weather!  There has been a storm brewing for two days along the Massachusetts coastline.  This was taken in Scituate although almost NOT, since the car door about blew off and my camera and I were soaked.
