I am looking forward to spring, full of bluebonnets, snapdragons, daisies, roses and the rest of those things that bloom when the sun comes out and we get a bit of rain. RAIN in Texas is the key...without it, our flowers don't do so well. It has been a cold winter here for this state, so bluebonnets got a good freeze which is healthy for them. We have not however, had much moisture which can be a problem if it doesn't hurry along. C'mon, RAIN.
These flowers come into bloom in early spring: A snowdrop carpet at Bank Hall, Bretheton in February 2009. Blossom of Lesser celandine. online
